Overview
The main goal of the Provider Marketing sales team is to sell the billing and collection services offered through Hygeia. Hygeia targets US hospitals to provide outsourced billing and collections, for their international payer claims. Using a consultative approach to sales, the successful candidate will sell the services throughout the United States. Travel is required about 30% of the time.Hygeia is currently seeking Account Executives with expertise in the Southeastern U.S. or Sunbelt markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Provider Marketing team and others within Hygeia to determine prospective clients.
- Generate new leads through independent research, attendance at trade conferences and seminars, internal claims database, and other sources.
- Extensive analysis of prospective clients, in order to establish and execute an appropriate sales strategy.
- Respond in writing to Requests for Proposals (RFP's) from prospects and clients, by conducting independent research and discussions with company staff.
- Interface with Operations personnel to communicate the findings of the strategic analysis and discuss solutions available to offer prospects.
- Execute contracts that lead to revenue in accordance with budgeted projections, in a disciplined and timely manner.
- Maintain a well-documented prospect database, contact logs and other records that facilitate the sales management process.
- Manage the assigned number of leads and prospects at all times to ensure adequate new business production.
- Introduce Account Managers to new clients and assist in the new client integration process.
- Maximize revenue over the initial period of the contract.
Required Qualifications
- Successful track record of selling outsourced services to US hospitals
- 7+ years successful sales track record
- Strong presentation skills
- Proven negotiating and closing skills
- Proficiency and experience in strategic business analysis and identification of new business opportunities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Openness and willingness to adapt to new processes, ideas and concepts
- Must be an independent self-starter with organized work habits
- Proficiency using Microsoft software applications, email, and the Internet
- University degree/ college diploma
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in or knowledge of international or domestic health insurance, preferably travel insurance, managed care, and PPO networks
- Senior-level contacts with U.S. hospital or hospital systems, in the business office or finance department
Compensation
Base salary + Commission + Comprehensive Benefit Program including Stock Options and Retirement Savings Program
